In vielen großen Städten und Metropolen der Welt gibt es immer mehr Möglichkeiten sich ein fahrbaren Untersatz zu mieten. Ob eScooter, Pedelec, Fahrrad, Auto oder Fahrdienste.
In Berlin werden zum Beispiel eScooter von Circ, Lime, Tier sowie VOi angeboten. Fahrräder und eBike‘s gibt es mitunter von Jump, Lime, Mobike, 0bike, LidlBike, NextBike. Elektro-Roller von Coup und Emmy. Autos von Flinkster, DriveNow und Car2Go. Es gibt hier aber auch den BerlKönig und Uber, die ihre Taxi-ähnlichen Fahr-Services anbieten.

Die Anmeldung und Bezahlung erfolgt in wenigen Schritten und simpel in der App und per hinterlegter Kreditkarte. Wichtig ist noch zu wissen, dass bei jedem Anbieter und Ausleihvorgang eine Gebühr von 1 Euro berechnet wird. Also immer Ausleihgebühr + Minutenpreis!
Bei den kleinen Elektro-Tretrollern lohnt sich ein Blick auf den Circ und Tier. Anders als Lime oder VOi bietet nur der Circ eine Smartphone-Halterung für die Navigation in der Stadt und sogar eine USB-Buchse zum Aufladen des Selbigen. Eine Getränke- und Tütenhalterung runden das Paket ab. Was das Fahrgefühl angeht, gibt es beim Circ und Tier keinen Grund zur Beschwerde. Zwei Bremshebel am Lenker sorgen für die nötige Sicherheit und der Motor beschleunigt schnell aus dem Stand auf 20 Kilometer pro Stunde. Einzig der Preis ist ein Punkt, über den man reden sollte. 15 Cent pro Minute ist bei allen Anbietern doch ein wenig zu hoch. Ein Auto bei DriveNow ist schon für bereits 30 Cent und ein Pedelec von Jump für 10 Cent zu haben. Die Relation ist hier doch ein wenig schief. Negativ ist mir hier Lime und VOi aufgefallen. Beim VOi ist es der Sicherheitsaspekt, hier fehlen die zwei Bremshebel am Lenker und er bietet nur die Option per Rücktritt auf das Hinterrad an. Nicht gerade ideal im Straßenverkehr. Beim Lime ist zwar ein einziger Bremshebel am Lenker, aber dieser bietet mir auch nicht die ausreichende Sicherheit in Kombination mit dem Rücktritt. Dazu kommt die Preispolitik bei Lime erschwerend hinzu, ich muss ein bestimmtes Guthaben auf das Lime-Konto laden und so sammelt sich totes Kapital in der App an.
Bei den Pedelecs auch eBike‘s genannt, sind mit bisher in Berlin nur das von Jump und Lime bekannt. Mein Favorit ist das Rote Jump Fahrrad. Warum? Es sind ebenfalls wie bei den Tretrollern die Technischen Details sowie Sicherheitsaspekte. Beim Jump ist der Akku in der unteren Rahmenstange des Fahrrads verbaut, was den Schwerpunkt gut auf die Straße bringt. Beim Lime hingegen befindet sich der Akku beim Gepäckständer am Hinterrad, dieser bietet so einen schlechten Schwerpunkt. Dies macht sich in Kurven doch sehr bemerkbar. Ansonsten verhält es sich wie bei den Lime-Tretroller, die Preispolitik per Guthaben, die bei mir für Minuspunkte sorgt. Hier werden bei beiden Anbietern 10 Cent pro Minute veranschlagt, was ich persönlich fair finde.
Meine drei Testsieger sind demzufolge der Elektro-Tretroller von Circ, dicht gefolgt vom Tier sowie das eBike von Jump.
Ein kleiner Tipp noch zum Schluss. Es befinden sich auch diverse Gutscheine im Internet, so dass ihr die diversen Anbieter auch teils kostenlos benutzen könnt. Googelt zum Beispiel dazu einfach nach „Circ Gutschein“ und tragt diesen Code dann in der passenden App ein.

It is still important to know that a fee of 1 Euro is charged for each provider and rental process. So always lending fee + minute price!
With the small electric scooters it’s worth taking a look at the Circ and Tier. Unlike Lime or VOi only the Circ offers a smartphone holder for navigation in the city and even a USB socket to charge the same. A drinks and bag holder complete the package. When it comes to the driving experience, Circ and Tier have no reason to complain. Two brake levers on the handlebars ensure the necessary safety and the engine accelerates quickly from a standstill to 20 kilometres per hour. Only the price is a point to talk about. 15 cents per minute is a little too high for all suppliers. A car at DriveNow is already available for 30 cents and a pedelec from Jump for 10 cents. The relation is a little crooked here. Negatively I noticed Lime and VOi here. With the VOi it is the safety aspect, here the two brake levers at the handlebars are missing and he offers only the option to step back on the rear wheel. Not exactly ideal in road traffic. With the Lime there is only one brake lever on the handlebar, but this one doesn’t offer me sufficient safety in combination with the backpedal. In addition, Lime’s pricing policy is aggravating, I have to load a certain balance on the Lime account and so dead capital accumulates in the app.
With the Pedelecs also eBike’s mentioned, are with so far in Berlin only that of Jump and Lime admits. My favorite is the Red Jump Bike. Why? With the Jump the battery is built into the lower frame bar of the bicycle, which brings the center of gravity well on the road. On the Lime, on the other hand, the battery is located on the rear wheel of the luggage rack, which has a poor centre of gravity. This is very noticeable in curves. Otherwise it’s the same as with the limit pedal scooters, the price policy per credit, which gives me minus points.
